Visitors from European Community member countries, the United States, New Zealand or Australia do not require a visa and may stay for up to 3 months in New Caledonia.

Currency
The New Caledonian unit of currency is the French Pacific Franc (XPF), which has a fixed exchange rate with the Euro (1000 XPF equals 8.38 Euros).
